If you’d like to start or develop your yoga practice, but are not sure about joining a regular group class, then private yoga tuition or a private group yoga class could be a great option for you. The advantage is that I can tailor the yoga session to your precise needs and go at a pace (fast or slow!) that works for you.

Is a private yoga session right for me?

If you are a complete beginner to yoga then one-to-one tuition is a great way to learn the basics and get the confidence to join a group class. Private yoga coaching gives you the opportunity to ask lots of question about the yoga poses, breathing and alignment which you might not feel comfortable asking in a public yoga class.

Private one-to-one yoga is also ideal if you are rehabilitating after an injury or if you have specific areas of the body you’d like to target… your hamstrings, core or a tight upper back for example.

But even if you have been practicing yoga for a while, personal yoga tuition can help you develop your yoga skills, troubleshoot poses or body areas that need extra focus and help support you in creating a home practice routine.

You could start with a couple of taster sessions or commit to a block of private yoga classes, in person or online.

Whether you suffer from extremely tight hamstrings and can barely touch your toes, or want to know how to get up into headstand, we can work together to devise a yoga practice that will help you reach your movement goals.

Where will the private yoga sessions take place?

I can come to your home in Leckhampton, Cheltenham or elsewhere in Gloucestershire, provided you have enough space to lay down a yoga mat! Alternatively the session can be held online, providing lots of flexibility to fit the one-to-one yoga session into your day.

Prices for a private yoga session, in person or online, start from £45 per hour.
